Wedding: The Engagement: Going Home

Saturday, March 4, 2000 – 7:30pm – Fifth Avenue

Once we hit the street outside the Empire State Building, we hailed a cab. On the way back to the airport, we called our families on our cell phone to share the news with them. We were back at LaGuardia by 8:00, where we kept making phone calls.  Our flight took off by 9:00.  We were both exhausted, and I think we slept most of the flight home.
